Introduction to emergency planning, including links to useful websites

There are a number of ways you can prepare for emergencies, increasing the resilience of your family and ensuring everyone knows what to do and how to stay safe.

The role of Emergency Planning is to co-ordinate our response, to assist the emergency services and support the needs of the people and communities affected by the incident.

We work with partner organisations to  prepare and maintain emergency plans, guidance documents and other related information, for the benefit of the communities of Shepway.

During an emergency, we and other organisations will strive to support all members of the community. However, there are actions you can take to help keep yourself and your family safe until help arrives.
