Complaints, compliments, and feedback about the service you've received

We're committed to delivering high levels of customer service to all our customers, as outlined in our Customer Charter. We have an online form so that you can:

  • provide us feedback so we can understand what works well and should be repeated in the delivery of other similar services;
  • send us a compliment so we can give credit to the staff involved, and share their good practice; or
  • make a formal complaint, explained below.

Complaints, compliments, and feedback form

Complaints

If you're dissatisfied with the service you've received from us, you may feel the need to make a formal complaint.

We recognise that we get it wrong sometimes, and we'll always thoroughly investigate any complaint and see what lessons we can learn to serve you better.

Anonymous complaints

We will not normally investigate anonymous complaints but may do so depending on the circumstances, including the seriousness of the issue, the credibility of the concern, and the likelihood of confirming the allegation.

The complaints procedure

Further information on how we process a complaint can be found here.

Complaints against Councillors

There is a separate process for reporting a complaint to us about a Councillor. Further information can be found here.
