Princes Parade: Update on the work to date to deliver a new leisure centre, 150 new homes and new accessible parkland

The report provides an update to Members on the work to date to deliver a new leisure centre, 150 new homes and new accessible parkland. The report seeks approval to progress a number of key work streams to deliver the scheme. Members are asked to agree the revised budget and project funding requirements, note the receipt of the Brownfield Land Release Fund, approve the award of the contract for the operation of the leisure centre and agree the additional funding for the installation of solar panels on the leisure centre. Members are also asked to note the disposal of the residential land in-line with delegated authority and approve the award of the build contract for the leisure centre.
