Help tackle Graffiti and Vandalism

Shepway District Council is only responsible for graffiti and vandalism on buildings and structures that we own.  Problems will be dealt with as soon as possible depending on resources available. Work will be prioritised so that offensive/racist graffiti, or graffiti in high profile areas will receive the most urgent attention. Unfortunately not all types of graffiti can be removed and on occasions extensive works have to be programmed in order to deal with the problem.

Where graffiti or vandalism is reported to us, but it is on private property, we will endeavour to contact the owner and ask them to remove it, particularly if the graffiti is offensive or racist. However we rely on the owner being co-operative in these instances and cannot therefore guarantee that action will be taken.

Please use this form to report any graffiti or vandalism you may come across within the Shepway area.  Once we know of it we will do our utmost to clear it up as soon as possible.
