Report Fly Tipping

Fly Tipping

To help improve the quality of the Kent environment by reducing flytipping and littering, Kent County Council is working in partnership with the twelve District Councils in Kent, the Environment Agency and Kent Police under the Great Kent Clean-Up Campaign.

The Council is responsible for clearing fly tipping (illegally dumped rubbish) on adopted streets and Council controlled parks and open spaces.

Fly tipping is an offence which, on prosecution, carries a maximum penalty of £20,000.

We will respond as quickly as possible to clear fly tipping on Council maintained streets and parks and open spaces but,
we need your help to keep our environment clean.

You can help by: –

  • Putting litter in a bin or taking it home with you

  • Reporting dumped rubbish, damage to litter bins, or other matters concerning the cleanliness of streets, parks and open spaces using the on-line form below or the contact details shown above.

  • Using this form to tell us about any fly tipping
