CASE-Kent. (Community Action South East Kent) - a local development agency offering support, information, advice and training to voluntary and community groups. It also recruits volunteers. Can be contacted on 01303 240957.

Shepway Volunteer Centre - recruits volunteers for voluntary/community organisations and its own direct services. Promotes volunteering and supports volunteers. Provides voluntary transport service, befriending service, and gardening/DIY services to aged, frail, disabled, and socially isolated residents in the Shepway area.

Action with Communities in Rural Kent - aims to improve the quality of life of local communities, particularly for disadvantaged people, and to facilitate the development of thriving, diverse and sustainable communities in Rural Kent.

Hawkinge Partnership - a government-funded intiative to improve public service provision in Hawkinge. It is overseen by a board comprising of local residents and service providers.
