The Council is not proceeding with the Folkestone Conservation Area Appraisal until further notice. If you have received a notification from the Council seeking your comments on the draft appraisal,  please do not respond. If you have already responded, the Council will hold your representation on file. The Council regrets any inconvenience caused.

New Romney Conservation Area Appraisal

A draft Appraisal has been prepared by external consultants on behalf of the Council.  Once adopted, this document will become a material consideration in the determination of planning applications in or immediately adjacent to the Conservation Area.

The draft document and appendix are available to view below.  A report to the Council's Cabinet will be prepared shortly following the consultation period, which has now expired.

Postling Conservation Area Appraisal (15 April 2009)

The Postling Conservation Area Appraisal was adopted by the Council on 15 April 2009 and is now a material consideration in the determination of planning applications in or immediately adjacent to the Conservation Area.
