Food - Mobile and Stall Traders

Mobile food traders are those who carry on a food business from a structure which can be moved eg burger vans, ice cream vans, market stalls,etc. The Food Hygiene (England) (No.2) Regulations 2006 recognise the specialised food safety issues associated with this type of food business. There are also a number of Health & Safety issues.

Every food business must be registered with the Local Authority where they are based. Registration is free and the application form can be obtained from your local Environmental Health Department.
