Key Shepway Priorities As a result of community consultation and through a strategic assessment of crime levels a number of key priorities have been identified by Shepway and will be dealt with through partnership working. It is a statutory duty to produce the plan in a form that is easily assessable. To view a summary of the Community Safety Partnership Plan please select this link The Annual Report There is a requirement of the Shepway Community Safety Partnership to review the Community Safety Partnership Plan each year. The Shepway Community Safety Partnership has reviewed activity of the partnership, the Community Safety Unit (CSU) and its sub groups. This has been summarised in an annual report covering the period 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2009.
The annual report provides an overview of projects and initiatives undertaken in the first year of the Plan, structures for delivery as well as crime and fear of crime figures for the last financial year. It also looks at challenges for the future and revises priorities set out in the original three year plan.
