Rubbish collection

Every week, the council's contractors collect landfill rubbish and recycling from more than 47,000 Shepway homes.

The collection service starts at 7.30am, so please place your rubbish and/or recycling at the boundary of your property by that time on your collection day.

Assisted collection is available for people who are unable to put their waste out for collection because of a disability or age.

In the case of a missed rubbish or recycling collection, the contractors will return to collect items within 24 hours of it being reported.
