Have your circumstances changed?

It is important that you advise the council of any changes in your circumstances that may affect your business rates - e.g. if you change address, if your property changes from being empty to occupied (or vice versa), or if your rateable value is amended by the Valuation Office Agency.

The council will re-calculate your business rates and issue an amended bill. If the change of circumstance results in overpaid business rates, you will be issued with a credit bill and a refund request form.

Please complete the council's  occupation-vacation-form whenever you move into or vacate a business property.
