CHALKFOOT THEATRE ARTS - Chalkfoot seeks to serve the people of South-East England and beyond by touring productions of a high professional standard which entertain, inform and inspire. Through community touring initiatives Chalkfoot aims to bring live theatre, participatory and training opportunities to people who live in rural areas, where access to arts opportunities is limited. http://www.chalkfoot.org.uk/ CREATIVE FOUNDATION - The regeneration question matters across Britain, and for the Folkestone-based Creative Foundation it demands an innovative answer: the Foundation is revitalising the town by buying dilapidated properties, doing them up and then letting them at affordable rents, thus attracting and harnessing the energies of creative people and businesses. http://www.creativefoundation.org.uk/ FAC (Folkestone Arts Collective) -The FAC is open to all artists practising in any discipline of the visual, performing and literary arts. It is open to established professional artists and to keen amateurs who wish to display or perform their work in a public arena. It is also open to members of the public who wish to see the arts scene in Folkestone develop. FOLKESTONE ART SOCIETY - Members are both professional and amateur artists who hold exhibitions, lectures, open studios, workshops, outings and community projects embracing a range of art forms: painting, pastels, drawing, sculpture, etching and ceramics. Some members regularly exhibit throughout the UK and Europe. With about 150 members the society holds each year two of the largest exhibitions in Kent giving artists opportunities to show and sell their work.
