Coast and Countryside Racial Harassment Policy

The Council's Commitment:

Shepway District Council will not tolerate any form of racial harassement against:

Any tenant or homeowner and members of their household
Any person occupying a property with the tenant's permission
Council staff and contractors
Anyone visiting the Council's estate areas

The Council is also committed to ensuring that every tenant has equal access to the Council's services.

Kent Homophobic Incident Reporting

If you have been the target of or witness to a homophobic or transphobic incident you can report it on 0800 3289162. The line is open 24 hurs a day every day. All calls are treated with sensitivity and discretion.

This is not an emergency number/helpline and if you are concerned about your or someone else's immediate safety you should phone 999 and ask for the Police.
