Disability Equality Scheme

DISABILITY EQUALITY SCHEME

The Council has published its first Disability Equality Scheme, which has been developed in conjunction with individual residents, Council employees, and a wide range of groups representing people with disabilities.

The Scheme sets out the steps that the Council plans to take to actively promote equal opportunities for disabled people, both as service users and employees.
