Dangerous Wild Animals

dangerous-wild-animalShepway District Council licences Dangerous Wild Animals to ensure that animals are kept in suitable accommodation, supplied with adequate food and drink, are adequately exercised, that precations are taken to prevent the spread of disease among animals and that steps are taken to protect animals in the event of a fire.

A licence is required for anybody wishing to keep a dangerous wild animal. The licence is a requirement of the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976.

The applicant must have Public Liability Insurance of £5,000,000. Original insurance documents are required with an application.
