Tenant participation can be powerful. By working more closely with your housing organisation - whether it is a local authority, Registered Social Landlords (formerly Housing Association) or housing company - you have a much better chance of making sure you get the service you want (and are prepared to pay for) from the quality of repairs to the way neighbourhood issues are dealt with, as well as influencing the community in which you live.

The SE Kent Tenant Participation Forum consists of a group of tenant participation workers from Ashford Borough Council, Canterbury City Council, Dover District Council, Shepway District Council and Thanet District Council; Thanet Community Registered Social Landlords (formerly Housing Association), Southern Housing Group, Sanctuary Registered Social Landlords (formerly Housing Association), North British Registered Social Landlords (formerly Housing Association), Hyde Registered Social Landlords (formerly Housing Association), Housing 21 and B and N Registered Social Landlords (formerlyHousing Association).
