Should you find yourself either homeless or facing a homeless situation, then as your local Council, we can provide you with advice and assistance. All Councils have a legal duty to consider any application from an individual who states that they are homeless or likely to be homeless, within 28 days. Shepway District Council Homeless Persons Unit (HPU)SDC's HPU is located at:Shepway Housing Centre 3-5 Shorncliffe Road Folkestone CT20 2SQ The Council also operates 3 One Stop Services:One Stop Services, locations and opening times.'Out of Hours' Service - This service is for emergencies only. At the Housing Offices, your details will be recorded on an enquiry form, which will establish the basic facts of your circumstances.
