Leased properties

What are leased properties?

These are properties belonging to private landlords, who allow the Council to use them as temporary accommodation. The Council manages these properties, which consist of bungalows, houses and flats of varying sizes. Occupation of a Leased property will be offered to you on a non-secure tenancy agreement and whilst living in this type of accommodation, you will be classed as a Council tenant.
