Living apart

Only applies if all the people applying have lived together as a family before

Overcrowding - you need a bedroom for:

a couple;
a single parent;
each person aged 17 years or over;
a child aged 10 years or over who would otherwise share with another child of the
opposite sex.

Points we can give you in this section if it applies to you.

Likely to endanger health for example, high levels of damp, poor insulation, poor lighting and ventilation. You will get double points if you are elderly, disabled or a child aged 5 years or under.	15
Dangerous electrical or similar installations or structure or serious repair problems. You will get double points if you are elderly, disabled or a child aged 5 years or under.	30

You will only get points if re-housing will make your health condition
more tolerable -

Acute need for example, a worsening or terminal illness, severe chronic illness, severe physical or mental disability	200
