The Planning and Environment department provides a range of front-line services and aims to respond to enquiries within agreed minimum corporate standards.

Where you contact us in writing, we will acknowledge your correspondence within 7 days and, depending on the complexity of your enquiry, we will aim to provide a full response within 28 days.

Where you contact us by telephone, we will aim to answer the telephone within 20 seconds and, if the person you wish to speak to is unavailable at the time you call, we will take a message for you.

Street lighting faults are dealt with by the Highway Services team at Kent County Council.
