Regeneration and Economic Development

The Regeneration and Economic Development Unit within the council specialises in:

Regeneration

  • Creating a regeneration strategy for the district
  • Attracting public and private funding to improve quality of life in the district
  • Bringing physical, social, and economic regeneration projects to fruition through strong partnership working

European Programmes

  • Establishment and running of the Boulogne Shepway Co-operation (BOSCO)
  • Bids for European Union funding to carry out a range of cross-border projects.

Economic Development

  • Providing a customised service to meet the particular requirements of local businesses and potential investors, e.g. we can guide you to available industrial and commercial property, advise on available forms of financial assistance and planning issues.
  • Preparing statistical profiles which may assist your decision-making process.
