Unable to vote in person?Voting by post - Anyone can apply for a postal vote at any election. If, for example, you will be away from home when an election takes place or you are unable to attend the polling station for any reason. You will need to complete an application form which requires you to supply your date of birth and signature. Your ballot paper will then be sent to you about 10 days before the election.
