Innovation, Research and Development Grants through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) provide finance to individuals and small and medium sized businesses. There are four types of grant available, with each requiring the applicant to make their own contribution to project costs in addition to this funding. The grants range from £20,000 to £500,000.
